I just found out that I have Candida. I was told that if it is not taken care of soon - it could lead to Fibramyalgia. So I am on a 30 day cleanse with a detox inbetween.

I found this site to be very helpful. I will bookmark it and come back for more.

thanks

Hello Jane,

3 weeks ago I decided to do as my husband has been pestering me to do and quit sugar, etc. to see if this would stop my diarrhea. It did.

I took it a step further and tried the Rife frequencies for candida on my head where I've had an infection in my mastoid bone and ears ever since 1) sniffing aspergillus spores which were coming out of my husband's nostrils (he had been a medical scientist in a hospital lab and had become mysteriously very very ill) 2) having dirty road water get splashed into my ear. I had 3 courses of antibiotics in a row 2 years ago to try and kill some of the nasty things now living in my noggin and ever since then I've had the runs, too.

I can tell when the frequencies kill something as I then have gunk which comes down the back of my throat---there had been candida in my head, too! !!! I'm going to use the Rife machine again today. We have a variety of gadgets to help us try to kill the aspergillus fungus.

I know that there probably aren't two other people in the whole of the UK who have what Paul and I have---he can't get a diagnosis although he sent in his own sample to another lab and found out he'd washed aspergillus out of his sinuses, and he's been washing it out 3 times a day for the last 7 years. It's been a nightmare. Because he also had Leaky Gut from 13 years of misdiagnosed Giardia he'd already stopped eating sugar and yeast and wheat. I've joined him now and find I only miss these things sometimes , and I've even found I like having yogurt, with pumpkin seeds and oat bran, for breakfast :-) What a surprise!

Just thought I'd share my story with you. :-) Thanks for being here to help!

I am 27 years old and have been fighting yeast infections since I was 18. I would go to the doctor and get a few pills to clear up the infection, or get the messy paste over the counter. But it never seemed to clear up the problem for long. I was having yeast infections two to three times a month and got to the point where I did not even treat it because the treatments cost a lot and did not help. I suffered from sever fatigue, sugar cravings, headaches, canker sores in my mouth and sore throats. In November I started reading the information on your site and got serious about getting rid of this problem. At first very nervous about this not working. I quit eating all sugar, yeast, wheat, and molds. I quite taking my birth control pills (been on them since I was 20), started taking pro-biotics and multi vitamins. By Christmas time I was symptom free! No yeast infections, no fatigue, no canker sores, no sore throats, NOTHING. Since then I have started introducing things like fruit and milk products back into my diet. I know when something does not agree with right away. This site, several books and a commitment to a better lifestyle has saved me! Thank you so much for leading me to feel better and be healthier!!

I\'ve already tried this diet byt for four weeks only. I must say it worked wonders. My problem was mainly the vaginal thrush. My only concern is: What if it comes back once I start re-introducing everything else I used to eat? But at least now I\'m more careful about what goes in and what doesn\'t. The newsletters help a lot and I thank you for that!

Thanks for leaving a comment Jill. Its great to hear someone who has effectively turned their health around. I think you should feel very proud of yourself for sticking to the diet because it is not easy. Your willpower is certainly paying dividends in allowing you some more dietary scope.

You dont mention what % tea tree oil you are using, but Thursday Plantation\'s recommend the following: 15% Tea Tree Oil (1 cap full in 100ml of water). The brand doesnt matter so much here as the % and quantity of water. I would use this as a guideline.

I am a big fan of both T-Tree Oil & Probiotics. I'm also an avid believer in following strict dietary constraints when Candida is overriding.
For the past 4 months I have strictly followed an anti-candida diet (& for the previous 8 months was mainly yeast free), incorporating gluten-free, yeast free & sugar free. I was encouraged by your survey results & felt slightly self righteous when reading that I was one of only 19% who strictly adhered to an anti-candida diet. The effort is definitely being rewarded as I have now reached the point where I can begin grading in a wider range of foods to my diet. I am in no hurry, as I definitely do not want to go through another bout of candidiasis, ever, if possible, & am hopeful that I have learnt enough through this process to be more proactive as soon as minor irritations occur. Thanks for your support.
What dilution is recommended for T-Tree Oil? I use 2.5mls per 250mls for vaginal cleansing. Is that an appropriate dilution?

Raewyn, once you have sucessfully eliminated candida overgrowth you can start to reintroduce sugar and yeast products back into your diet.

However before you do you need to be sure that the candida has definately gone or it may flareup again putting you back to square one. It is probably best to save these types of foods to have on special occassions and not to incorporate them as part of your daily diet. Also, depending on why you developed a candida overgrowth in the first place (i.e. through poor diet) then you may be better advised to continue to avoid them.
